The Michigan no-fault law permits you to recover personal injury protection, or PIP benefits, when you have been in a car accident or truck accident. These economic benefits, recoverable from your own insurance company, are also called first-party no-fault benefits. They include medical expenses, payment for mileage to and from medical appointments, wage loss, household replacement services and attendant care. You may recover these benefits even if you were at fault in the accident.
We are available to assist you to obtain these benefits, or, if you have had your benefits terminated, to see if you can help to have these benefits restored.
Contact us immediately after the accident. There is a statutory limitation period to file your application for benefits or you will lose your right to benefits.
